ABOUT US
Tuckombil Sasha
Jarravale Simmentals was established in 2010 by Allan, Alyson & Lachlan Jarrett.
The herd commenced with the purchase of four females from the Tuckombil Simmental Herd.
The herd was further developed through the purchase of cattle from leading studs including Barana, Waterfront and Woonallee Simmentals.
Jarravale's strategic utilisation of embryo transfer has resulted in continual improvement in herd quality and depth. AI sires are sourced from both national and international herds to foster ongoing improvement and evolution.
In 2013 & 2014, embryos were purchased from established studs including Woonallee and Bar 5 in Canada which gave us a great base for our ongoing ET program. Today we use the excellent progeny as the donors for our ongoing traditional ET programs.

In 2019 we commenced our Black Simmental program and can now offer the first of our bulls for sale.
Jarravale's aim is to produce moderate, easy-doing, functional cattle which are commercially-focussed. Our genetics are tested in our commercial herd to ensure relevance and the ability to meet market demand.

Our Autumn 2021 ET calves are on the ground and looking fantastic. The sires include Anchor D Raptor 392C and Starwest Pol Blueprint.

Our Black Simmental program is progressing well with the recent calves by WS Proclamation E202 from Lancaster and Bonnydale donor females showing great potential.
